Jill is a lifelong learner and holds her BA from Michigan State University, her Teacher Certification from Grand Valley State University, and a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Western Michigan University. Her passion is working with and helping children. She was a multi-age and first grade teacher until her first child was born and then was blessed to be able to stay home with him and his younger brother. During that time, Jill stayed active helping children by volunteering and sitting on Boards which include, Jeffers Elementary Parents Club, Spring Lake Junior Sailing Association, Butterfly National Board, The North Bank Fund, The Children’s Advocacy Center and 100 Women Who Care. Jill loves her husband, Tim and their two sons and two dogs. She also enjoys cooking, entertaining, the outdoors, being on the water in the summer and the ski slopes in the winter.
