Development & Diversity Director
Rebekah was born in South Korea, naturalized at the age of 4, and raised in Holland, Michigan. She has worked in nonprofits since graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Political Science and International Relations. She is the Director of Development & Diversity at the Children’s Advocacy Center and builds strategic partnerships, serves on the internal Diversity Team to help create a more inclusive service delivery model and culture, writes grants, oversees events, tells the story of the CAC, and is the de facto head of marketing. She loves building relationships, and connecting people to the community. Her passion to build a more just and loving world stems from her lived experience as a transracially adopted Korean female. She volunteers as a mentor for Korean youth adoptees and as a Finance & Sustainability member on the board of Directors of Lighthouse Immigrant Advocates. She frequently travels, reads, and adventures outdoors.
